My First Semester of College

Well, I survived. 5 classes, 15 hours, 5 months, 16 weekends and countless memories. Time to reminisce!

First of all, I picked the most beautiful, amazing and inspiring university in the world. Hands down. Read about my obsession here.

My bid to Kappa Alpha Theta! So lucky I'm in such an amazing sorority with amazing girls! Read about my recruitment story here.

I was lucky enough to be put in the most close-knit and fun dorm on campus, where all of my best friends live within 100 feet of me.

Somehow I got the best big ever, who is not only like a best friend to me, but a mother hen as well. I don't know what I would do without my biggie, but you can read all about her here.

I got to experience not one, but two famous performers, Jason Derulo and Roscoe Dash. Oh and did I mention they were both free?

I managed to make a few good friends in Theta. They're pretty neat.

Oh, Fred Armisen came, too. Thus perpetuating my obsession with Portlandia.

I became a die-hard football fan- like a real Texan- and may or may not have thrown a fit when we didn't make the playoffs (we deserved it). I'm also pretty good at talking smack to those dang Baylor fans. Counting down the days until we face Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl!

Last but not least, I got to experience TCU lighting their larger-than-life Christmas tree, complete with fireworks, a live band, "Rein-steer", hot chocolate and a Horned Frog Santa. TCU knows how to do Christmas right!
