Christmas Eve Eve

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I know I won't be the first or the last one to say this, but this year just doesn't really feel like Christmas at all. Maybe its the weird weather we've been having, or maybe it's because my brother isn't home from New York yet (he'll be here tonight!!). I don't know, but maybe wrapping some presents today will get me in the spirit!

Today's festivities were so much fun and I'm really hoping we make it a tradition from now on. My five best friends from high school and our moms all got lunch to catch up and celebrate before some jet off to holiday vacations, study abroad trips and spring semester. Our moms have gotten together without us a couple times already this semester and had a blast, so they figured they'd invite us. How thoughtful of them!

I'm so lucky I've kept these amazing friendships for so many years. I known three for about 12 years and two for about nine years. How crazy is that? We made it through the awkward middle school years, the bitchy high school years and even all went separate ways for college, yet we still manage to make time for each other when we get home. For that I am thankful!

Hope everyone is having fun rushing around getting their Christmas goodies ready, remember the reason for the season! What're your plans for Christmas Eve? Comment below, I'd love to hear!
