Snacking & Studying

Happy finals season everyone! I know, I hate to remind y'all, but the most stressful week of the semester is upon us. For many of us, finals week means Redbull, very little sleep and even less food options in the middle of the night.

As hard as it is to hear, one of the essentials of finals week is eating healthy and taking care of your body. One way to do this is to bring your own healthy snacks to the library, or where ever you choose to do your cramming.

There are a few options for this. Fresh fruit is a great idea. Just throw some grapes in a baggie and you're good to go. Another option is some string cheese. Portable and delicious, string cheese will keep you going. However, both of these require refrigeration, which is practically impossible when studying for hours (unless your library is 34 degrees).

A solution to this is healthy fruit and nut bars. Not only are these amazingly healthy for you, but they're perfect for throwing in your backpack and saving for later. These bars from Natural Balance Foods are not only totally amazing for you, but they're also part of a perfect vegan diet plan. If you're looking for a great dairy-free, gluten-free and wheat-free snack, this is it.

Hoping everyone is surviving so far and staying healthy! Have a great finals week, y'all!
